I enjoy how you've incorporated the odd man out in two of your pictures. Must touch you on a personal level ;). Anywho, I understand why you would choose these pictures because by not comforming to everyone else, you are showing your true character. You correctly dipicted that.
I thought the pictures matched the qoute very well. It discusses being an individual and following your heart. All the pictures expresses being yourself and standing out from the group. When you conform your not being your true self so by being a non conformist, your standing out, but you are following your beliefs. These pictures were very reflective of the qoute.
I really like the pictures you chose. They definitely express nonconformity to the extreme, an idea that Emerson strongly supported. Yes, nonconformists stand out, as clearly illustrated by the pictures, but it is a symbol of personal strength. It is so much more important to be true to oneself than to fit in. I believe that happiness comes much more easily to those who feel they can express themselves. And the nonconformists in these pictures express themselves loud and proud!
